![]() Pads - If you make ambient sounding music, Omnisphere's got you covered. Their vocals section is also pretty good for choir sounds, though if you're looking for vox pads I'd reccomend "Exhale" instead. ![]() The strings are also amazing, both having isolated instruments and pads. ![]() There is a large variety and every single one can either fill up the space you need or be the center point of the mix. Live instruments - Omnisphere has UNBEATABLE guitars. I'm sure if you know your sound design or buy the right packs you'll have a different experience, but unless you're willing to cough up even more money to do that, this review is for you. This is all coming from the perspective of a preset-junkie. (Important edit): I'm not a sound designer, nor have I purchased any custom patches. So, I've had Omnisphere for about 2 months now, and while that's probably not enough time to fully figure it out and know how to use it, I'd like to share my first impressions
